Bob Chamberlain

BOARD MEMBER

Mr. Chamberlain has over 40 years of business experience in a variety of business areas. Mr. Chamberlain became a Naval Aviator after graduating from Colgate University with a degree in economics, and is a retired Navy Captain, with over 3400 hours as a mission commander in the E-2C aircraft and had four Commands while serving as a Naval Officer.
Mr. Chamberlain is currently the owner and chairman of Monterey Technologies, Inc. (MTI), a 40-year old Veteran-owned Small Business (VOSB) specializing in Human Factors Engineering (HFE) and Human-Systems Integration (HSI), supporting product design teams for complex hardware and software systems.
Mr. Chamberlain currently serves as a mentor to the UNC-Asheville entrepreneurship program and here at Unbroken Spirit, volunteers for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and is a financial supporter to the arts in Asheville, NC. Mr. Chamberlain served as a board member and as the Board President for the NAC (National Ability Center) in Park City, UT. The NAC provides over 38,000 individual experiences a year for people with a wide range of ability levels. 30% of these experiences support veterans.
Mr. Chamberlain and his wife Mary, who is also an Unbroken Spirit mentor, reside in Walnut Cove.
