Michael Valdez

Expedition Team Leader

Michael Valdez served in the United States Army for four years, including with the 3/504 P.I.R. 82nd Airborne after volunteering for the 75th Ranger Regiment. He is passionate about giving back to fellow Veterans and joins Unbroken Spirit as an Expedition Leader. A certified Peer Support Specialist, Mike is an expert in leading outdoor backpacking expeditions and facilitating outdoor therapy experiences for Veterans. In addition to working full-time, he regularly leads outdoor Veteran groups out of his home. Mike lives with his wife, Stephanie, and their service dog, Renegade.
